In an MSP client estate

Why PulseGuard matters for a managed estate

Who it is for

MSPs operating many Passports across client estates who need to check current state at review points.

The MSP problem it addresses

Before a review, a renewal or a revocation, you need to know the current state of the Passports you operate without checking each one by hand.

The client problem it addresses

The client wants to know whether anything about its machine identities needs attention before it relies on them.

When to attach it to a client

Attach it when the number of Passports you operate makes checking state one by one impractical — for example around revocation and lifecycle work.

What the MSP receives

  • Evaluation findings for the Passports you operate, run when you ask for them.

What the client receives

  • A review of its machine identities' current state that informs the next action.

How it fits the recurring Machine Trust service

Evaluations support the lifecycle and Attention Required work inside a recurring service; they do not replace it.

Options, prices and state

Each option, as TrustOps lists it

Bought in TrustOps per tier (monthly or annual prepaid); enterprise scale by arrangement. One paid tier per billing scope. Prices and what can be bought today come from TrustOps, which owns every purchase, entitlement and renewal.

PulseGuard

States and prices from the TrustOps catalogue snapshot of 2026-10-14; TrustOps shows the current state. Buying a capability changes what you can operate. It never changes what the public record proves, and no paid tier is a verification outcome.

How it works

In plain English

  1. 1Choose a tier sized by evaluations a month.
  2. 2Run evaluations on demand across the Passports you operate.
  3. 3Use the findings to decide what to re-check or update.

Inputs

  • The Passports you operate.

Outputs and evidence

  • Evaluation findings that inform; they never decide identity truth or lifecycle state.

With your existing stack

It reads ECZ-ID records; it does not connect to or monitor your RMM, SIEM or endpoints.

Boundaries

What it does not do

  • It does not run scheduled monitoring yet.
  • It does not detect or alert on threats, and it does not change identity or lifecycle state.

TrustOps terms for PulseGuard Pro (monthly)

  • One paid tier per billing scope.
  • An upgrade replaces the lower tier.
  • No unlimited variable-cost activity.
  • Usage is cost-governed.

What buying it never changes

  • the ECZ-ID of any Passport
  • the Parent organisation tier
  • identity truth or lifecycle state (a finding informs, it never decides)
  • essential canonical evidence

Proof and integration

Resolver and Developer Gateway

Resolver relationship

A finding is an input to your review. The current public state of any Passport is read at the Resolver.

Questions

PulseGuard: questions MSPs ask

Is PulseGuard a monitoring tool?
Not in the security sense. It runs evaluations on demand across your Passports; scheduled monitoring is not live yet, and it does not detect threats.
Does a Verified Business Passport include anything?
TrustOps lists included PulseGuard floors with the Verified and Assured tiers; included floors apply as a maximum, not in addition to a plan bought separately.
